Our Rocketeer Promise
After 21 years in business, last year we sat down and thought deliberately about why we existed. And we clarified why we were in business.
It can seem weird to have a promise for a business, but it’s natural for us and I’m sure it’s similar for many entrepreneurial-led businesses.
These kind of things tend to go out the window once there’s a lot of investors involved and board politics take over.
There’s truly nothing as satisfying as seeing your team members do well in life, through the impact you help them make on their careers and then the impact that make on the growth for themselves, their family and community. Life is about more than just pure ROI.
There’s no point owning a big boat if nobody wants to go fishing with you.
Here’s the work we did to clarify our promise:
